Month of Mae

One of my favorite parts about being an Alice M. Baldwin Scholar is belonging to a community that empowers women of all backgrounds to pursue their dreams. In support of this mission, I designed flyers, Facebook banners, and Instagram posts for the Month of Mae, our month-long event series championing women of color in STEM (named for Dr. Mae Jemison, our keynote speaker and the first Black woman to space). With these assets, I aimed to highlight not just the important role women of color have played in the history of STEM but also how their pioneering work has paved the way for our generation's dreams to flourish.
